The Bias Against Creatives as Leaders from 99u

99u does a great job of laying out an issue succinctly and then offering solid tips for how to solve that issue. In this case the issue is the negative bias against creatives. The tips they offer for dealing with that bias are great, but caveat emptor: The job still needs to be a good fit for a creative. Put a creative into a role where he or she doesn't get to put their creative talents to work and that will won't lead to good outcomes. Which makes me wonder if it's better to simply look for a role where that bias doesn't exist and doesn't have to be routed around.
